Challenge:

To provide more directed access to the Royal Bank website through the major search engines, Wilder & Associates was commissioned to optimize the Royal bank website. As a secondary goal, Royal Bank wanted regular statistical reporting and analysis on all traffic to their website.

Solution:

The first step in creating a complete solution for the Royal Bank was to perform a needs analysis. After completing the analysis, research into Royal Bank's competitors ensued giving Wilder & Associates a better understanding of the current methods used by the competition.

Once the meta tags were entered into the various Royal Bank web pages, the site was submitted to the top 16 search engines. Each search engine has its own criteria for indexing websites, so Wilder & Associates created separate pages designed to work with each of the search engines specific requirements.

Since the initial submission, Wilder & Associates continues to update and resubmit the Royal Bank website to the top 16 search engines. Each month, an in-depth report is generated including details about registration activity and search engine results.

Results:

Since the start of the Royal Bank project, there has been a measurable and substantial increase in the traffic from the top 16 search engines to the Royal Bank website. Each month changes are made to ensure Royal Bank maintains or increases its statistical advantage.
