Adding content to the site affects both the IA (Information Architecture) and the site design. Content itself will suggest other linking possibilities. We often include client content whole (such as white papers, PDF's, product specification sheets, etc.) as well as original content. This process begins to flesh out the site and gets us close to what the site will really be like. This dynamic process is inevitably one of experimentation and testing. Content can come from existing websites, offline collateral, research papers, or corporate communications. We use information writers, as well as copywriters and marketing writers, to fulfill the needs of each page, each section, and each site. This attention to detail ensures clear communication to site visitors and appropriate language for Search Engines to catch. We have worked extensively with sites needing translation into other languages. Translation services are available as needed. Content development is Step 5. |
